Hardware and installation
The restaurant problem
Consumer tablets and USB printers fail in a kitchen.
How Codefusion solves it
Specified Android tablet, stand, 80mm printer, print bridge, configuration, test order and staff handover as a one-off add-on.
What is included
Device, stand, printer, paper starter, PrintNode or equivalent setup, network check, test ticket, staff introduction, handover checklist. On-site versus remote install is a commercial option.
How installation and onboarding work
Supply, configure, pair, print a test ticket, walk through accept/reprint, leave the checklist.
The commercial benefit
The terminal and printer are kitchen-ready on day one instead of a personal tablet in a drawer.
Who it suits
Any software package. Hardware is not a substitute for a subscription.
What Codefusion manages
Supply, configuration, pairing, PrintNode key on the server.
What the restaurant manages
Paper, cleaning, keeping the tablet charged and installed as the PWA, reporting faults.
Hardware requirements
10-inch Android tablet, stand, 80mm thermal printer, print bridge where required. SKUs are still a commercial question.
Support provided
Hardware faults follow the handover terms. Software support remains on the subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Can we bring our own tablet?
Possible but not recommended. Browser alarm and wake-lock limits still apply. Codefusion specifies hardware for a reason.
